This talk from the British Cactus and Succulent Society offers a fascinating insight into decades of hands-on growing experience. Beginning in the late 1960s, Nick has developed a thriving 15 x 30 ft greenhouse filled with an extensive and varied collection of cacti and succulents.

With a particular passion for Haworthias and mesembs such as Lithops, his collection also includes a range of other desert plants, including Pelargoniums. Most specimens are grown from seed, and his careful cultivation of both summer- and winter-growing species ensures year-round interest—demonstrating the skill, patience, and dedication behind maintaining such a dynamic and ever-changing greenhouse.
